Guild tools

Every guild tool you remember from Classic asks the same question in Forever: has the vendor added Forever support, and can it read your characters? The second answer is no for everyone, because Blizzard has published no Forever API namespace. So every tool below is manual entry until that changes, and a few of them are nothing but a landing page. This page separates what works, what is waiting, and what is vapor, then says what the guild runs on today.

Why nothing syncs: the API gap

Blizzard’s developer portal exposes retail under static, dynamic and profile namespaces, and the Classic flavors under *-classic1x-* (Era), *-classic-* (MoP progression) and *-classicann-* (TBC Anniversary). No Forever namespace exists, confirmed by reading the portal’s content JSON. A forum thread asking about it (September 18) has no Blizzard reply. Expect a new family at or after November 4; nothing has been announced. verified

Consequences: Raidify says its Armory roster sync is “waiting on Blizzard publishing an API for Forever”. WoWAudit, Jeeves and every armory bot are useless for Forever until then. Any tool claiming to import your Forever characters today is either using an addon export or making it up.

The tools, one by one

WoWAudit (needs a Forever API), Raidbots (retail sims), Raider.IO and its Discord bot (Mythic Plus), Northern Sky Raid Tools (retail), Viserio and Wipefest (retail; URLs from memory, unverified), Method Raid Tools and Guild Roster Manager (no Forever flavor on CurseForge). Private-server soft-res sites (raidres.top) and their addons are for reference only.

Warcraft Logs status for Forever

As of 2026-09-24: unknown. No announcement was found. The site returns 403 to fetchers, so nothing was read there directly. Raidify’s own page says its Warcraft Logs integration waits on WCL adding Forever. Two community MCP servers wrap the WCL v2 API (warcraftlogs-mcp, wcl-mcp-server), and both inherit the same dependency. unverified

Officer guidance from the endgame research: do not promise logs for December 9. If WCL ships a Forever site, the guild webhook (guild settings, Discord tab, paste the webhook URL) is the one integration worth setting up first. Re-check on December 1 alongside the loot addons. What is vapor

For the bot builders

The guild runs its own Discord bot, so this is the short version of what is buildable now. Of the community MCP servers audited, only hated-wow-mcp has explicit Forever support, and only on the addon-development side (Lua API index, lint, TOC validation for the “Camelot” client). curseforge-mcp-server is game-agnostic and usable for addon discovery. wow-mcp is the most complete retail wrapper but has hardcoded retail namespaces and a stale March commit. The cheapest post-launch path for roster or armory features is a small wrapper over @blizzard-api/classic-wow, which takes a namespace argument, once Blizzard publishes one. verified

What the guild actually uses now

  • Roster: the Discord roles channel. You fill in class, spec, role, leveling spec, race and professions when you join, and the guild bot builds the roster and the profession coverage board from it. This is the source of truth until Blizzard ships an API. verified (internal)
  • Signups: Raid-Helper is the standing pick from the guild’s operations review (opt-out signups for a fixed 10-player roster, 24-hour deadline, bench named at deadline, absence status instead of DMs). It is game-agnostic, so nothing about Forever blocks it. Adoption timing is an officer call; see the launch timeline.
  • Loot: nothing automated. The December 9 fallback if no addon gains Forever support: Raid-Helper signup, soft reserves declared in a Discord thread, /roll in game, loot history in a pinned sheet. “It worked in 2005.” Rules live on Loot rules.
  • Not adopted: Raidify, CoGM, RaidMuster, OXM, ThatsMyBIS. Each was audited; none was needed for a friends guild pre-launch. ThatsMyBIS is the first candidate if the guild moves to loot council for the 20-player raid.
  • Logs: none, because there is nothing to log into.
